Dear Sailors, Supporters and Guests,

We had so much fun on Boxing Day last year that we plan to do it all over again and you can help us raise some much needed funds alongside the clubs own auction just by coming to play on the water. We’re hoping for good weather again so we all want to come back year on year.

Summary notes for the Competitors:-
There will be a prize for the best crew’s fancy dress. The crews are to sail past the CCYC Marina Hammerhead between 1030 and 1040 so that they can be judged.
First (and only) race warning signal will be at 1045 as per the NOR.

After the completion of the Scramble there will be prize-giving in the Clubhouse. Along with mulled wine and mince pies and a charity auction with all proceeds going to the Andrew Cassell Foundation which we are extremely grateful for and if you know of anybody who has ideas for items to donate please do contact the club.

ACF Sailing will be creating some sailing opportunities on our Sonar’s for those without boats to raise a little more on the water with a suggested minimum donation of £25 per person upwards which will go towards getting more disabled people out racing throughout 2020. All sailing abilities welcome but places depending on the sailing ability/levels of others.

Spaces went fast last year so do get booking up quickly.
25 places are available and a further 15 can be opened up if enough demand. (Numbers based on 5 people per boat).

Don’t forget if you have your own boat you can come and play also, all are welcome!

Please contact info@acfsailing.org for further information.

More details on how to sign up can be found on our website www.acfsailing.org or directly via this link – https://acfsailing.teamapp.com/events/9473549

We hope to see you all out for a little bit of fun on the water and / or in the club house after for a great social.

Boxing Day 2018 results attached.

Yours sincerely,

The ACF Sailing Team.
