Dear all,

Please join us in a huge thank you to the new ACF Office / Store ‘Volunteer Team’ working so hard most days to get it up and running. 

It’s been just over a month and what a huge transformation of the clubs old unused space, which last was used as a beer store, previously a race office and well anything else you can think of.

This space is going to be fantastic when finished.  And enable us to achieve so much more.

Jon – Who i finally have a picture of on the roof has taken on board all the man building work and directing the team, but also as you can see repairing the CCYC office roof at the same time.
(Thanks to Luke of Goodall Roofing for teaching us and getting us started and donating some materials).

Helen – has been amazing having never done any DIY before and been stuck in every corner of the area! And we could not have done most of it without her drive. If any one needs paint it’s most likely on her clothes! Haha

Jock – for a man newly with a leg, has both spent many hours tidying up getting stuck in and also painting and filling alongside Helen. Plus has been the key man driving around gaining huge help from organisations like Jewson’s, City Electrical Factors and Dulux.

Honestly on bright sunny days like this and so much more to go, thank you all so much for what you are doing for us to help make more happen in the future.

there is so much more help coming and will update you again soon, but also we head into one of our busiest weekends in a while that we could do with another boat!
